Abstract
PURPOSE: To continuously form a convex part or concave part, by feeding a material to the gap of a die roll and flat roll, by installing plural rotary forming devices for applying a prescribed press force, and by controlling the phases of these forming devices.
CONSTITUTION: At forming a sheet of nonuniform cross section to be subjected to the blanking work for obtaining electric parts, plural forming devices, consisting of a couple of a flat roll 2 and a die roll 1 provided with triangular shape rolling convexes projecting out of the roll diameter, are installed in the forming machine. The material is fed into the gap of the die roll 1 and the flat roll 2 of the forming machine, and the die roll 1 and the flat roll 2 are rotated while keeping a prescribed press force; hereby, the material is continuously formed into a sheet possessing nonuniform cross section such as the convex section 3a or convave section 3b.
