Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to use a generator as a power source for working on the sea, at the bottom of the sea or the like by a method wherein an air pump is operated by the wave motion at the surface of the water, the air fed from the pump into the water moves upwards as air bubbles which generate upward water flows, and the generator is driven by the upward water flow.
CONSTITUTION: When a pump chamber 11 is contracted by the wave motion at the surface of the water, a valve body 17 of a feed pipe 15 is opened to feed water to the bottom of the sea. On the other hand, when the pump chamber 11 is expanded, a valve body 17 of a connecting pipe 142 is opened to take air into the chamber 11 through an air intake part 14. The above operations are repeated to perform an air-feeding action. When the air fed from the air pump 1 is ejected from an ejecting part 3 placed in the proximity of the bottom of the sea, the upward movement of the air bubbles generates the upward water flows, which are collected by a flow collecting part 4 to increase the rising velocity, and the accelerated upward flow of water is used to drive the generator 6. Accordingly, the generator can be used for working on the sea, at the bottom of the sea or the like.
