Abstract
PURPOSE: To generate reliable turning moment under the water, by setting an open end of an air pipe of air pump below a rotary path of buckets.
CONSTITUTION: An open end 7a of air pipe 7 is set at a position below an underwater rotary device, being slightly shifted from the vertical line passing a rotary shaft 1 of the rotary device toward the forward direction of rotary discs 3, 4, 5. Compressed air from an air pump 6, stationed in the air and driven by a motor, is released from the open end 7a and fed from below in buckets 2 attached to the rotary device. The buoyant force of air caught in the buckets 2 energizes the buckets 2 upward to turn the rotary shaft 1. In other works, the buoyancy of jet air from the open end under the water is converted into a rotary force. Compressed air from above the water thus can reliably driven the underwater rotary device.
