Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a wide variety of ignition timing with a low cost apparatus by varying the standard angle pulse for lead angle setting by means of angle pulse and a counter and according to a driving parameter. CONSTITUTION:Control is performed with two standard angle pulses P1 and P2, and a counter which counts crank angle sensor output. A triangular wave 3 is reset when a counter output is n=i, whereby being charged with a constant current and the wave is set to a constant value after a P1 is generated. When a time elapsed after generation of said P1 for a period corresponding to an operation parameter, a waveform 4 is triggered. Accordingly, ignition timing is delayed by a crank angle which corresponds to the period from the generation of the said P1 until said waveform 4 was triggered. By this mechanism the ignition timing can be widely varied with a low cost apparatus.
