Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a control circuit of an integrated circuit and heighten the efficiency of the control circuit, by comparing the period of a real speed signal with the time of a reference speed signal and by feeding electricity in a next period if the period of the real speed signal is longer than the time of the reference speed signal but feeding no electricity in the next period if the period of the real speed signal is shorter than the time of the reference speed signal. CONSTITUTION:The revolution speed signal of the DC motor 1 is detected by a detector 14 and then applied to a rising detection circuit 16. When the output signal of the detector 14 has risen, the rising detection circuit 16 produces an output signal T synchronized with the output pulse of the reference oscillator 15. A counter circuit 16 counts the output of the reference oscillator 15 by a predetermined number to apply a reference time as an output 18 to a discrimination means 21. The output signal T of the rising detection circuit 16 is compared with the reference time by the discrimination means 21. If the output T is longer than the reference time, power is supplied to the DC motor 1 in the next period of the output T. If the output T is shorter than the reference time, no power is supplied to the motor so that it rotates by inertia. The output T is thus made coincident with the reference time.
