Abstract
PURPOSE: To directly and effectively cool the rotor shaft of a high speed rotating apparatus, by attaching an oil cup to the lower part of the housing of a high frequency motor, sucking an oil, and cooling the rotor shaft.
CONSTITUTION: An oil cup 3 is attached to the lower part of the housing 3 of a high frequency motor. An oil in the oil cup 13 is sucked up by the high speed rotation of a rotor shaft 8, and carried to rotor shaft-cooling lines 15, 16, 19. In this case, a bearing 11 and the rotor shaft 8 are lubricated by an oil injected from an oil outlet 21 and a branched line 20. A returned oil is cooled and then sucked up through an inlet 18, to cool the rotor shaft 8 and to lubricate bearings 10, 11. Thus, the rotor shaft of the high speed rotating apparatus can be directly cooled. At the same time the bearings can be lubricated.
