Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable plural persons to make observation simultaneously by splitting the luminous flux for the single eye of a binocular microscope for a formal observer, transmitting the same to a binocular microscope for a subobserver and again splitting the same to the luminous flux for the right and left eyes. CONSTITUTION:The 1st luminous flux splitter 2 is disposed to the optical system for the single eye of a binocular microscope for a formal observer. An auxiliary objective lens 3, a 45 deg. declination prism 4, the 1st relay front-back lens 5, and a rotation prism 6 are disposed along the optical axis taken out by said luminous flux splitter. Also, the 2nd luminous flux splitter 10 including the 1st mirror and 2nd mirror 9 of which the reflection faces incline respectively to the optical axis side and change the right and left of the separated luminous flux, mirrors 11, 12 which parallel the split luminous fluxes to the observer's collimation direction, trapezoidal prisms 13, 14 for adjusting pupil width and eyepieces 15, 16 are disposed. An object O forms the primary image O1 between the prism 4 and the lens 5 and the seconcary image O2 between the prisms 13, 14 and the eyepieces 15, 16.
