Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the waterproof pan easily with a small amount of resin by coating a releasing agent by a method wherein recesses for forming leg parts thereof are recessed in a female mold, leg mold members being disposed with sealing materials on the tops thereof and covered with glas bases around the peripheries thereof are put on a glass base on a male mold thereof and resin is poured after the molds are engaged.

CONSTITUTION: The recesses 5 having draft surfaces 4 are provided on the forming surface 2b of the female mold (b). The releasing agent is coated on the forming surface 2a of the male mold (a), the preformed glass base 1 is laid thereof and the leg mold members 7, having the draft 4 in a direction reverse to those in the recesses 5 at positions corresponding to the recesses 5, the draft surfaces 4a of which are covered with the glass base 1 and the seal members 6 are put on the upper surfaces thereof, are put thereon. The releasing agent is coated on the forming surface 2b of the female mold 2 and the recesses 5 and both of the molds (a), (b) are clamped so as to fit the leg mold members 7 into the recesses 5. Synthetic resin 3a such as PE or the like, for example, is poured into this mated mold through a pouring port 8. The flow of the resin 3a into the upper surface sides of the leg mold members 7 is precluded by the sealing members 6. The mating mold is released and the sealing members 6 as well as the leg mold members 7 are released from the main body A of the pan, thus the molded piece of the waterproof pan may be obtained.
