Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in circuit elements and IC chip size and eliminate the need for regulating parts by constituting a voltage detecting circuit which can detect plural voltage levels by means of C-MOSes. CONSTITUTION:A P-MOS12 and an N-MOS13 are MOSFETs for switching of a voltage comparator 1. The output terminal C of the voltage comparator outputs signals Q1-Qn from respective output terminals via a buffer 14 and latch circuits 15a-15n. The voltage comparator operates in the periods of t0-tn+1 when clock phi0 is L, and further a source voltage dividing circuit is selectively conducted by phi+1-phitn clocks successively. The latch circuits 15a-15n read in the output signal of the voltage comparator successively by the clocks phi1-phin. The plural voltage levels are detected by signal-processing the outputs Q1-Qn of the latch circuits after the clock phi0 returns to H. With such constitution, the increase in circuit elements etc. is prevented and the need for regulating parts is eliminated because the C- MOSes are used.
