Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the temperature compensation for the limiting voltage, by producing the limiting voltage through a circuit containing two diodes and then securing an identical level for the forward voltage of both diodes. CONSTITUTION:When the input signal Vin is lower than the limiting voltage, the diode D11 is off. Thus all currents I2 of the current source CC2 flow through the resistance R10. In this case, the potential Vb at the point (b) becomes as Vb= Vout+VF10-I2R10(Vout: output voltage of amplifier A10; VF10: forward voltage of diode D10). The limiting becomes active when Vb becomes the forward voltage VF11 of the diode D11. Accordingly the limiting voltage VL, when being limited, becomes as VL=I2R10+VF11-VF10. Thus V1 does not receive no change of temperature by satisfying VF11=VF10.
