PURPOSE:To obtain a very small radius of curvature and minimize a contact area when making a Josephson element by point-contacting the tip of a needle shaped superconductor electrode to a superconductor electrode, and by constructing at least the point contact part of Nb3Ge. CONSTITUTION:The free end surface 21 of a base wire body 22 which constitutes a superconductor electrode 25 is made into a flat surface, the entire surface of the wire body 22 including the flat surface is coated with a superconductive layer 23 consisting of Nb3Ge by the chemical vapor deposition method and the layer 23 on the free end surface 21 is ground by a chemical means to make a flat contact surface 24.
