Abstract

PURPOSE:To share a power circuit and control signal circuit between both stereophonic channel parts, by controlling every instantaneous power voltage according to a signal greater in level. CONSTITUTION:Input signals from input signal sources 1 and 31 for left and right stereophonic channels are detected by full-wave rectifiers 12 and 36 and a signal having a greater absolute level is extracted by logic circuit 37. This extracted signal is PWM-converted by pulse-width modulator 13 to control power voltages +e and -e common to left and right channels. In this case, left and right channel output voltages e0 and e0' and power voltage +e and -e have relations as shown in the figure and even if any signal is inputted to the left and right channels, values of voltages +e and -e developed at power terminals 10 and 11 follow up a larger voltage between e0 or e0' and exceed it without fail, so that there will never be the absence of output signals.
