PURPOSE:To reduce a residual sag by providing a low-frequency suppressing circuit to a transmission side and simultaneously by providing a low-frequency emphasizing circuit and a linear sag compensating circuit to a receiving side. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is supplied to photoelectric converting circuit 1 via low-frequency suppressing circuit 4. A light signal from circuit 1 is converted by photoelectric converting circuit 3 into an electric signal, which is supplied to linear sag correcting circuit 6 via low-frequency emphasizing circuit 5. Circuit 6 compensates the sag of frequency characteristics in the low frequency range to flatten the frequency characteristics.
