Abstract

PURPOSE: To lengthen the life of a roller bearing by making the clearance of the roller bearing small, and by subjecting the inner wall of a rotor and the outer wall of a housing to blackening treatment, and thereby making the temperature difference between inner circle and the outer circle of the roller bearing small.
CONSTITUTION: The inner wall of a rotor 1 and the outer wall of a housing 3 are subjected to blackening treatment to make the thermal emissivity to be increased. As a result, an increased amount of heat is transferred during use through thermal radiation from the inner wall of the rotor 1, the temperature of which is increased as a rotating axis 2 by the heat conducted from a target 5, to the outer wall of the housing 3. Accordingly, the temperature of the housing 3 is greatly increased, and the temperature difference between the inner circle and the outer circle of a roller bearing 4 is decreased. The clearance of the above roller bearing 4 is preferred to be 1W 3μm. The temperature difference between the inner circle and the outer circle of the roller bearing should be below 50°C, and it preferably is below 10°C.
