Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a heat resistant composite alloy material having high temp. strength and high tem. corrosion resistance, by coating the outer peripheral surface of a core material made of presdribed heat resistant alloy with an alloy powder of high temp. corrosion resistance more excellent than that of the core material by hydrostatic pressing method, and by sintering the composite material.
CONSTITUTION: A core material of ordinary heat resistant alloy is cast previously into a similar figure as a turbine blade and is placed in a capsule 2 for ordinary hot hydrostatic press method (HIP) for mild steel or glass etc. The space made between the capsule 2 and the core material 1 is filled with an alloy power 3 having Cr equivalent larger than that of the core material 1 and high temp. corrosion resistance more excellent than that of the core material. After the capsule is sealed by ordinary method, the capsuled material is HIP treated by ordinary method in a high temp. high press. furnace. As a result, heat resistant composite material coated on the outer surface with an alloy excellent in high temp. corrosion resistance is obtained. For the alloy 3 an alloy having high Cr equivalent of ≥20.4%, which is shown by a formula, is used. The space 4 formed in the core material 1, which was made by casting, is collapsed completely during HIP treatment, so that pores and casting defects of core material are removed.
