Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to make an efficient use of high-temperature or low-temperature hot water supplied from a solar heat utilizing water heater in a hot-water supply system all through the year, by supplying hot water after mixing hot water supplied from the solar heat utilizing water heater and hot water supplied from a commercial heat utilizing water heater.
CONSTITUTION: When a temperature setting handle 55 is turned, a guide sleeve 47 fixed to the handle 55 is also moved axially with rotation and causes movement of a subsidiary spindle 40. This in turn causes movement of a temperature-sensitive section 44 and a spindle 40, so that the interval between a control valve body 36 and the first and second hot-water valve seats 34, 35 is determined and the rate of the amount of hot water supplied from a solar heat utilizing water heater to that supplied from a commercial heat utilizing water heater is also determined. Hot water from the solar heat utilizing water heater introduced into the first hot-water passage 14 and that from the commercial heat utilizing water heater introduced into the second hot-water passage 15 are both supplied into a case 12 respectively via the first port 32 and the second port 31 and mixed therein. Hot water in the case 12 is discharged from an outlet port 33 into mixing passages 17, 18 for mixing the same with water supplied from a water inlet port 6 and then issued for use from an outlet port 11.
