CONSTITUTION:Roller 12 of a couple of fixing rollers 12 and 13 has heater 11 built in it and is provided with ''Tefoln '' layer, etc., at metallic core body 22 and on its surface. On the other hand, roller 13 pressed against roller 12 consists of core body 18 of a rigid material, such as iron and stainless steel, in the center, thin metallic layer 20 of aluminum, stainless steel, etc., as the outmost layer, and heat-resisting elastic material layer 19 made of a high molecular material, such as silicone rubber, as the intermediate part. Thus, the long-life roller superior in thermal resistance and oil resistance and free from local excessiveness can be obtained.
