Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare the Al alloy plated steel plate with excellent corrosion resistance and processability by immersing a steel plate in a plating bath comprising a specific composition ratio of Al, Sn and Mg to carry out plating treatment at a specific temp. CONSTITUTION:A plating bath comprising a composition consisting of 3.0-13% Si, 0.5-8.0 Mg and the remainder of Al and inevitable impurities is prepared. A cold rolled steel plate is treated at first in a degreasing process of an oxidation system or a nonoxidation system to clean a surface thereof and, after reduced and annealed in a reduction gas furnace, sent to a hot dipping process. The plating bath is heated to a temp. of 620-690 deg.C and said steel plate is passed through and immersed in said bath to impart an Al-Si-Mg alloy plating layer on a surface thereof. Subsequently, a deposited amount is adjusted and cooling is carried out to obtain the desired Al alloy plated steel plate.
