PURPOSE:To improve efficiency in adjusting process of weighing machine production by adjusting a weighing machine which displays a weighing value by weighting the load value which has been A/D converted to a desired scale value rapidly and accurately. CONSTITUTION:The analog voltage corresponding to a load value is outputted from a strain gage type load cell 1. After this voltage is amplified with an amplifier 2, it is attenuated with an attenuator 10 and is supplied to an A/D converter 4. Here, when a switch 8 is OFF, the digital value of the A/D converter is multiplied by the coefft. having been set in a weighting setter 6. When the switch 8 is ON, the digital value is divided by the value corresponding to the weight value having been set in a scale weight setter 5. In this way, the output of the A/D converter 4 is arithmeti cally processed by the value corresponding to a desired scale value, and a required coefft. is calculated and is set by the weighting setter 6, whereby span adjustment is accomplished.
