CONSTITUTION:In accordance with the special number of picture response service from a telephone set TEL, the telephone switchboard selects the dead outgoing trunk OGT which is opposed to the repeater REP of the picture switchboard, and transfers a subscriber's telephone number to the REP. The picture switchboard receives the subscriber's telephone number by the register sender RS, also discriminates the accomodating position of a television TV corresponding to the subscriber's telephone number on the picture switching link V-LINK, and also selects the dead picture circuit VL. As a result, both the REP and the RS become a signal send-out state to the picture response equipment VRE, the RS sends out a picture circuit number and a subscriber's telephone number to the VRE, and the VRE prepares for charging and starts the picture response service.
