Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the parasitic oscillation of sample, by inputting the output of circuit detecting the displacement of the sample to the chopper and driving said chopper by the output of phase-locked-loop responding to a narrow range of frequency. CONSTITUTION:The sample 2 hung down from the base board 1 by the hanging wire 3, is oscillated by the oscillator 4 and its displacement is detected by the pickup 5. Further, its output is inputted to the displacement detecting circuit 6 and is supplied to the chopper 8 through the amplitude detecting circuit 7 and the variation of energy in accordance with the internal friction of the sample is obtained from the out going line 12. Moreover, the chopper 8 is driven by the output of the phase-locked-loop 13 to operate the oscillator 4 through the output circuit 9. Accordingly, the parasitic oscillation of the sample 2 is prevented and also, the frequency of oscillation is easily varied because said loop 13 responds only to a narrow range of the frequency.
