Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to cope with the exhaust gas regulation wufficiently by a method wherein a control condition by means of a fuel supplying amount control means in a slow main system is locked and the air to fuel ratio is controlled by means of the fuel supplying amount control means in an amount increasing system while a suction negative pressure control means is being operated.
CONSTITUTION: While the suction negative pressure control means is being operated, an ON duty data to be given to solenoids 3, 4 in the slow main system is locked immediately before a time t1 and the opening rate of a valve for an air solenoid 7 in the amount increasing system is controlled in accordance with the magnitude of the suction negative pressure to control the air to fuel ratio by means of the fuel supplying amount control means in the amount increasing system. According to this method, a fluctuation wil not be generated in the characteristics of the air to fuel ratio even if the suction negative pressure control means is operated, therefore, the exhaust gas regulation may be cleared sufficiently.
