Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a steady operation with a low level of power comsumption and regardless of a fluctuation of the power supply voltage, by controlling the threshold voltage levels of two MOSFETs that form an input gate of the voltage comparator circuit at difference values. CONSTITUTION:The voltage comparator circuit 30 includes the MOSFET1 and 2 used as the voltage input gates plus the current Miller circuit 31 consisting of MOSFET3 and 4 that are used as the active loads circuits. The gates of the MOSFET1 and 2 are connected to the connection point A between the capacitors 7 and 8 connected in parallel to the load 6 as wll as to the connection point B of the MOS5 for voltage drop. In this case, the supply voltage VSL of the load 6 becomes as shown by an equation (where C7 and C8 show the electrostatic capacities of capacitors 7 and 8, and VTP1 and VTP2 show the threshold voltage levels of the MOSFET1 and 2). In such way, a steady operation is secured regardless of a fluctuation of the power supply voltage.
