Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the diversity reception of antennsa for traveling-body mounting by eliminating influences of switching on a picture receiver screen by changing phural antennas, mounted on the travelling body, over within a vertical retrace period. CONSTITUTION:On the roof, bumper, etc., of car 10 as a traveling body, antennas 1 and 2, and 8 and 9 for TV reception are provided and the outputs of those antennas 1 and 2, and 8 and 9 are led to change-over circuit 5 and either output of the change-over circuit 5 is connected to the antenna input of TV receiver 6. Then, TV video signal Ea and vertical synchronizing signal Eb are led out of receiver 6 and applied to control circuit 7, which generates sampling change-over control signal Es of a constant period from a certain reference time within a vertical retrace period and applies it to change-over circuit 5. With a control signal of the highest level of video signal Ea, antennas 1 and 2, and 8 and 9 are change-over within the vertical retrace period to improve the diversity reception.
