Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare an undercoating composition for fluororesin coating, having excellent hardness and adhesiveity at high temperature and improved corrosion resistance, and containing flaky inorganic material and a heat-resistant binder.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition containing (A) a flaky inorganic material such as flaky mica, flaky graphite, glass metal flake, etc., and (B) a heat-resistant binder (giving a coating film having a pencil hardness of not lower than HB at 200°C), such a polyamide-imide resin, polyimide resin, polyethersulfone resin, polysulfone resin, epoxy resin, etc. The component (A) has pref. a diameter (the largest dimension of the flake) of 1W100μ. The amount of the component (A) is pref. 10W80wt% based on the component (B).
USE: Useful in the domestic field such as coating of irons, cooking utensils, etc., and in the fields of food industry, electrical industry, engineering industry, etc.
