CONSTITUTION:A permanent ring magnet 1 is provided at the outside of tube at the neck section, while magnetic yokes 2a, 2b having cylindrical sections 3a, 3b and beam pass holes 20-22 are arranged correspondingly in the tube to produce an uniform focus lens. Here a high permeability magnetic chip 17 is additionally provided at the outer circumference of one yoke 2b, or a magnetic member 19 is additionally provided at the cathode side. Consequently the function of lateral field at the fluorescent side of the yoke 2b against the side beams 7, 9 are weakened, while the shifted incidence of beam can be prevented resulting in the improvement of the convergence or the focus characteristic.
