Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of a cavity in the subject rotor by a method wherein a molten inductive material is poured into slots from the end face side of the core at the angle almost in parallel to each closed slot provided on a rotor core. CONSTITUTION:The insulation-processed rotor core 12 is placed and arranged in the lower mold 11 and heat-molten aluminum 15 is poured into the slots from the filling port 14 on the upper mold 13 which is dividable into two parts. The molten aluminum 15 is poured into the slots 12a and 12b on the upper mold 13 through the intermediary of the gate sections 16a and 16b provided on the extended line of the slot axial center of the slots 12a and 12b on the rotor core. Accordingly, the running of the molten conductive material is improved and the generation of a cavity can be suppressed.
