Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance a position detecting accuracy by detecting an absolute address and a fixed point or the vicinity thereof of a moving member from the output of a phase difference detector. CONSTITUTION:A transmitting antenna 12 is inductively connected to a main line group A and the received signal is compared in phase by a phase difference detector 36. In accordance with output of the phase difference detector 36, an absolute address of the moving member 10 is detected every intersecting section. The received signal received by an auxiliary line group B by an inductive connection from the transmitting antenna 12 is processed by a phase shifter 31, a phase inverter 32, adding circuits 33, 34 and the phase difference detector 35. From the phase difference circuit 35, a detecting signal showing a fixed point or the vicinity of the moving member 10 is outputted.
