Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase a fatigue strength in a moving vane of a rotating body, by providing many slits in the padding welded portion of a leading edge of the moving vane in the rotating body.
CONSTITUTION: In the leading edge portion of a blade body part 1 of a moving vane in an axial flow fan, one kind of rotary unit, is processed a padding welding work with a material of high hardness. Though the material of high hardness is easy to generate a crack relating to a lowering of fatigue strength, a fatigue strength in the moving blade of the rotary unit can be improved by previously providing many fine slits 5 in the material of high hardness.
