Abstract

PURPOSE: A half-wetted feed that contains dairy products and/or their by-products as major ingredient, thus being suitable for feeding infant animals, especially calf, shoat or testing animals and further highly preservable.
CONSTITUTION: Dairy products as defatted milk powder or dried whey powder and/or by-products of dairy products as casein or lactalbumin are employed as the major ingredients and, when needed, fat and oil, protein, starch are combined so that the water content and water activity are adjusted to 20W80% and 0.93 respectively.
