Thence, the lens end face groups are compression-molded on the top and bottom surfaces of the transparent body 123 thus formed, by using the dies 120, 120' having the concave spherical faces of the curvatures of the 1st, 2nd end faces of the bar lenses in the disposition positions of the bar lenses. Thereby, the compound eye lens device is produced with good volume productivity.
