Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an air cell having high discharge operation voltage and superior long storage performance by using an air electrode which is constituted of the coexistence body consisting of nickel oxide, metal phthalocyanine, carbon minute powder, and fluoro-resin. CONSTITUTION:An air electrode 3 is formed as follows: Minutely powdered active carbon having a surface area of about 800m<2>/g is immersed enough in the solvent solution of cobalt phthalocyanine and dried in liquid containing state under decompression, and then cobalt phthalocyanine in about 5% by weight for active carbon is deposited and allowed to coexist.
