PURPOSE: To enhance an exhaust effect of combustion gas, and improve a scavenging efficiency, by providing two scavenging passage for jetting a scavenging flow from different direction, in the two-cycle internal combustion engine of uniflow scaveging type.
CONSTITUTION: In a cylinder head 4 are provided a spark plug 7, an exhaust valve 51 and an exhaust port 52. In a cylinder block 1, a piston 6 makes a sliding motion, further in the block 1 are provided two scavenging ports 31a, 31b made open and close by a motion of the piston 6, simultaneously with the both ports linked to the crank case, not shown in the drawing, through a scavenging path 2, 2. And the second port 31b is provided in a lower portion than the first port 31a. Further in the piston 6, are constructed a horizontal passage 811, linkable to the second port 31b, and vertical passages 812, 813, 814 made opening in the piston top portion, and a scavenging flow from the second port 31b is jetted to center of the combustion chamber.
