Abstract
PURPOSE: To attain a high fuel atomization rate by varying the number of revolutions per minute of a burner motor and the temperature of feed air to control the amount of oxygen in the air, which is to be varied in accordance with an increase and decrease in feed rate of a fuel during a combustion operation, whereby a decrease in the number of revolutions per minute of the motor can be minimized.
CONSTITUTION: In order to conduct a high-degree combustion operation, a damper 25 is operated to prevent air from flowing into an auxiliary air feed pipe 24, and a burner body 13 is heated by a heater 16. Then, a urner motor 9, a pump 18 and an electromagnetic valve 19 are operated. As a result, a fuel is scattered by a scattering element 15 to be instantly gasified. The gasified fuel is introduced from a burner head 12 into a combustion chamber 5 so as to be ignited. Waste gas flows from the combustion chamber 5, through a heat exchanger 6 and a discharge pipe 21, and to the outside of the room. The waste gas is subjected to heat exchange with the atmospheric air in an air feed and discharge top 22. In order to conduct a low-degree combustion operation, the number of revolutions per minute of the motor 9 is decreased a little, and the damper 25 is operated to permit the atmospheric air to flow into an auxiliary air feed pipe 24 alone. The air is then subjected to heat exchange in the combustion chamber 5 and heat exchanger 6 to increase the temperature thereof so that a decrease in the rate of gasification of fuel can be prevented.
