Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a smooth burning-up of deoiled coal, an effective holding of a burning hour, and an easy operation control of a boiler.
CONSTITUTION: Particles of deoiled coal are fed into a primary air duct 3, which conveys the said particles by air current, by means of a rotary feeder equivalent variable coal feeder 2. The primary air duct 3 is connected to a burner 4. At the said connection portion of the primary air duct 3, a nozzle pipe 3a of the burner extends horizontally, a pressurized air injection pipe 5 being located concentrically at the axis of the nozzle pipe 3a. An end of the pipe 5 is situated in proximity to the opening of the nozzle pipe 3a at the inside of the pipe 3a. An upper secondary air feed opening 6 and a lower secondary air feed opening 7 are placed such that they surrounds the nozzle pipe 3a, ducts 6a and 7b provided with air volume control dampers 6a and 7a being connected to the aforesaid openings. A duct 5b is connected to the pressurized air injection pipe 5, an air volume control damper 5a being positioned thereat.
