Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the unit price of electric power used in a self company by comparing the unit price of an electric power by a non-utility generation with that supplied from a power generation company and operating the non-utility generating apparatus by so restricting fuel to its minimum capable of maintaining normal combustion state if the unit price of the power generation company is inexpensive.
CONSTITUTION: When the unit price of a non-utility generating apparatus is inexpensive (control mode 1), a control valve 9 of regulated fuel such as heavy oil or the like is controlled through a regulator 7 and a converter 8 in response to the output of a main steam pressure detector 6 in a main steam pressure control system and a steam control valve 3 is controlled through a regulator 13 and a converter 14 in response to the output of a speed detector 12 in a governor control system to thus maintain the turbine speed constant. On the other hand, when the unit prince of a power generation company is inexpensive (control mode 2), the control valve 9 is so throttled to its mininum capable of maintaining normal combustion state of the regulated fuel and the output of the main steam pressure control system is compared with that of the governor control system to thus select the low signal so as to thereby control the valve 3.
