Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain stabilized pressure control characteristics, by preventing hunting of the regulating valve by setting a function having hysteresis characteristics for the steam turbine load to control the inlet pressure of the regulating valve of the steam turbine.
CONSTITUTION: In a combined-cycle power plant whose main machinery is composed of a gas turbine generator 2, steam turbine generator 7, waste heat recovery boiler 5 and others, the steam turbine performs its pressure control by feeding the value of the steam turbine load obtained by a steam turbine load detector 15 to an inlet pressure control system 17, and thereby controlling the regulating valve 12. In this case, the inlet pressure control system 17 is composed by interposing a hysteresis circuit 42, with a required extent of insensitive region against the rise and fall of the input, between a function generator 28 inputting the output of the detector 15 and a subtracter 29 inputting the output of a pressure detector 13. The regulating valve 12 is controlled by the output of the subtracter 29 through a controller 30.
