Abstract

PURPOSE:In the production method for multilayer tubes, to eliminate joint portions so as to improve the appearance and enhance the productivity by closely fitting the outer tube to the inner tube through thermal contraction. CONSTITUTION:An inner tube 2 has a mouth portion 1 and is made of a synthetic resin such as polyethylene and polypropylene or of a soft metal such as aluminum. An outer tube 3 thermally contractable in radial direction is fitted over the inner tube 2 with a gap 4 therebetween, and thermally contracted by heating to fit closely to the inner tube 2, to yield a multilayer tube. The heating is carried out by blowing of hot air, spraying of hot water, or other suitable means.
