Abstract
PURPOSE:To seal a laminated tube, neatly, without using an expensive device, by blasting hot air to the inner sealing layer of the tube to melt the layer, and pressing the tube with a pair of clamping bars. CONSTITUTION:A laminated tube 4 is set in a mandrel 5, and a hot air nozzle 2 is inserted into the tube 4. Hot air is blasted through the openings 3 of the nozzle 2 to heat and melt exclusively the sealing part of the tube 4. The nozzle 2 is pulled out from the tube 4, and the tube is sealed with a pair of cold clamping bars 6.
