Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure insulation at the ends of a core while removing unevenness in insulation property by a method wherein nozzles are provided obliquely over and beneath both ends of the core each other, and a heat fusible powdery resin is sprayed thereon while turning the core.
CONSTITUTION: A core 3 having a slot 3b is supported rotatively with a masking member 1 for example, a nozzle 5 is provided obliquely over an end of the core 3, and another nozzle 6 is also provided obliquely beneath another end. Then, an insulation layer is formed by spraying a heat fusible powdery resin 2 through the nozzles 5 and 6 onto the core 3 which is kept heated and rotating. By arranging such, the powdery resin 2 sprayed through the nozzles 5 and 6 does not come directly into collision with each other, and hence an unevenness in insulation is removed thereby and the edge 3d or the core ends which must be insulated thoroughly can be treated securely for insulation.
