Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare thermosensible recording sheets of multi coloring hues together solely through one unit of coater by evenly coating thermosensible coating liquid having two or more different kinds of coloring hues to a backing material in obedience to the lateral partitions thereof. CONSTITUTION:As a backing material 1 constituting a base sheet and wound to an original role A passes through an oprning 13 of a coating liquid tray in a coater head B, herein filled up liquids 9, 10 are adhered, impregnated and adsorbed to the backing material surface. The coating liquid trays 7, 8 of corresponding quantity to the number of hues of coloring liquid to be coated to the backing material surface are placed on a coating tray holder 6, and the coating liquids 9, 10 are therein filled up respectively. The excessive coating liquid adhered to the continually moving backing material 1 is scraped away by means of a mire bar 11 touched to the backing material 1 so that required amount of the coating liquid is solely impregnated and adhered to the backing material 1 passed through the mire bar 11 and forms dry coat film. The film is then dried up in a drying unit C and rolled round a reel D.
