Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce an amount of torque loss, and make the promotion of improvement of the fuel consumption, by promptly drawing out the oil in a torque converter, with one way clutch of stator eliminated, at full power operation of the engine for cargo work.
CONSTITUTION: With a cargo work control valve 39 operated to a work condition, a microswitch 40 is closed through a contact piece 40a to switch the oil path of selector valve 38. Oil, fed from a main pressure regulator valve 23, bypasses a torque converter 24 being fed to a lubricating circuit, and the torque converter 24 inlet circuit is linked to an atmospheric link path 44, as well as with a drain circuit 42 of the torque converter 24 linked, and the oil in the torque converter 24 is promptly drained. Accordingly, a pump impeller of the torque converter 24 becomes stirring only air, thus providing a less amount of torque loss capable of improving also the fuel consumption.
