Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible the printing of a letter with a fixed height regardless of the rotational speed of the recording paper driving motor and improve the printing quality by controlling the printing space time with a pulse emanated through the rotation of the motor.

CONSTITUTION: As a recording paper driving motor begins to rotate, a pulse signal B is produced by a timing signal generator 5 while a printing pulse C by a printing driver 7, thereby activating the printing head 8 to perform a printing between the points P and Q. Upon the end of the printing pulse at the point Q, a counter 6 starts calculating the pulse signal B. When the number of counting reaches the intended value, a pulse D' is emanated. With such an arrangement, space times t₂, t₄... between the printings correspond a certain number of the pulse B from a timing circuit 5, measuring a certain rotational frequency of the recording paper driving motor 4. The feeding length of the recording paper is made constant and hence, the printing is performed corresponding to each certain feeding length of the recording paper. This can maintain the height of the printing letters constant regardless of the rotational speed of the motor 4.
