1423080 Printers IOMEC CORP 25 Feb1974 [26 Feb 1973] 8447/74 Heading G4H In printer apparatus, one of a plurality of print timing means is selected by a decoder in response to the count of a counter driven and reset by second and first sensors respectively, these sensors being provided for sensing second and first indicia on a type belt respectively. There is one first indicium per font (at its beginning) and one second indicium per character, on the belt, The two sensors also drive a character generator, the output of which is compared with stored data to be printed, to control hammer drivers, the timing means feeding the comparator and the hammer driver control.
