Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct the printing deviation in dots generated on the recording paper by ensuring a continuous jetting of ink drops during the single letter printing with injection of more than one drops prior to the start of printing. CONSTITUTION:As the printing information signal is inputted into the input terminal A of an excitation circuit 20 while a printing command signal into the input terminal B thereof, a pulse signal is produced synchronous to the printing command signal from the output GL of a gutter level signal generation circuit 21. Thereupon, a gutter level signal with a given pulse width is produced from an amplification circuit 24 and inputted into an electrostrictive vibrator 2 to emit ink drops by vibration thereof. Subsequently, when a pulse signal synchronous to the printing command signal from the output D1 of a dot information generation circuit 22 is outputted, an excitation signal slightly broader in the width and marginally small in the vibration than the gutter level signal is produced from the circuit 24, and inputted into a vibrator 2. Thus, by the vibration of the vibrator 2, ink drops are caused to jet print letters on the recording paper 8.
