Abstract

PURPOSE: To assemble efficiently and also to prevent welding defect by welding and connecting at least one side of a part where a vane for runner is fixed from outside the opposite two annular plates.
CONSTITUTION: For manufacture of a high-speed rotodynamic unit, a vane 3 is first welded to a side plate 1, and then the vane unit 3 and a base plate 2 are welded. A vane projection 9 and a projection 11 are provided on the vane unit 3, these projections are inserted in a beveling of the base plate 2 to MIG welding from outside the base plate 2. Then, the projection 11 is formed at a junction of the vane unit 3 and the base plate 2 from planing a nose of the vane unit 3, those 1W2 are connected through TIG welding from outside the base plate 2, and then laminated as far as the surface of the base plate 2 through MIG welding.
