Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize the delay time when constituting the delay circuit via the charging and discharging of one capacitor by performing the level detection of the charging/discharging with stoppage of the charging/discharging and also setting the potential then to the initial level. CONSTITUTION:When transistor Q1 is ON, the collector potential is set lower than the ON-level of Schmitt circuit 4. Accordingly, both Q2 and Q3 are OFF. When Q1 becomes OFF with inversion of input signal Vin, the potential of capacitor C2 rises up. Thus the output of circuit 4 features a high level to turn on Q2 and Q3. The voltage of C2 is converged to the voltage which is divided by resistance R2, R3 and R4, and this voltage is set identical to the ON-level of circuit 4. As a result, the output is inverted to a high level and at the same time the charging is stopped. The similar procedure is given also in the case of discharging, and the charging/discharging is stopped simultaneously with the inversion. Thus, the delay time can be stabilized.
