Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the imporper blanking of the terminal base of a motor and electromagnetic sound produced upon mounting of the terminal base at the motor by forming cutouts at the boundary portion between the arcuate portion and the linear portion on the outer periphery of a steel plate when blanking the steel plate, fixing the terminal base between the cutouts and integrally molding it therewith.
CONSTITUTION: When blanking a linear portion 18 after blanking an arcuate portion 17 in the step of blanking the outer periphery of a silicon steel plate 16 for a stator iron core, cutouts 20 are blanked on the boundary between the arcuate portion 17 and the linear portion 18 simultaneously. After predetermined number of the plates 16 are laminated and integrally welded with the projection 23, a terminal base 7 is engaged with the cutouts 20, and the entirety is molded. Thus, it eliminates the improper blanking of the terminal base at the boundary between the arcuate portion 17 and the linear portion 18. Since the depth of each of the cutouts 20 may be shallow, it is difficult to produce electromagnetic sound upon mounting of the terminal base 7 at the motor.
