Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve productivity in coil inserting operation, by arranging coil guide jigs in a cylindrical configuration, mounting a prewound coil, fixing a core on said guide jigs keeping a slot facing down, and then, inserting the coil by pushing it up. CONSTITUTION:Coil guide jigs 53 having wedgelike section are arranged on a base board in a cylindrical configuration at prescribed intervals, and prewound coils 14 are mounted in gaps on the coil guide jigs 53. A recessed section 53A with projections on the both sides is formed on top surface of the coil guide jigs 53, and a core 11 is fixed keeping a slot 12 facing down so that the top section of a core tooth 11A is fitted in this recessed section 53A. Then, by raising a stripper 54, a coil 14 is inserted in the slot 12. Preparation of a stator is completed by repeating this operation by phases number or pole number. It is possible, by doing so, to improve performance and productivity in the coil inserting operation.
