Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the circuitry by obtaining 3-phase AC current having a frequency equivalent to 75% of the power supply frequency direct from the 3-phase AC power source.
CONSTITUTION: Arranged are 6-phase windings 5a∼5f for inducing current in the reference 6-phase and the first to thirds auxiliary windings 6a∼6f, 7a∼7f and 8a∼ 8f each made up of six windings adapted to eparately induce current in a phase identical to the reference 6-phase and six phases lagged by 40° and advanced by 40° from the reference 6-phase. The first to third auxiliary windings 6a∼6f, 7a∼7f and 8a∼8f are connected in sequence to respective phases of the load 9 shifted by 240° with respect to the phase angle of the 3-phase AC power sources 1∼3 with the first to third electric valves 10∼15, 16∼21 and 22∼27.
